Mechanical or Electrical CAD Technician (Entry Level)

DUTIES:
This person MUST be very knowledgeable of AutoCAD 2000 and higher. They will work very close with a team of engineers designing HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection or Electrical systems for buildings. This person will be given every opportunity to grow within our company. This person MUST be a team player.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist engineers and designers with AutoCAD drawing production.

HOURS:
This position is full time, 40 hours per week. There will be times when overtime work will be required.

COMPENSATION:
This position will be in the $10 per hour range with an evaluation in 6 months.

Senior Mechanical Designer

The successful candidate must have a minimum of eight years experience designing plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and mechanical piping systems. A strong mechanical design background is required.

General responsibilities include: production of contract documents (drawings and specifications), developing CAD drawings, reviewing shop drawings / submittals, researching codes, surveying existing facilities to obtain design information, visiting construction sites to observe the installation of mechanical systems and coordinating technical issues with other disciplines.
